i should have expected this. my mom never gets me anything, ever. i hope i don't sound greedy, but i put some thought into my gifts for my mom. and after we opened our presents, my mom said "well, its a small christmas, you guys really didn't ask for much"

i've gotten used to buying everything i want on my own, so i'll probably go buy the stuff i didn't get, then get an earful from my mom about how i'm spending my money unwisely.

Jesus, I'm 19 and a college student as well and all I asked for christmas was:

And what I received:

OK.... My parents have more money than god... I didn't ask for CRAP... Tis not about getting tis about giving. And you are right that feeling of someone appriciating what you get them is a lot to do with it. Well just think about how crappy your mom must feel about the spoiled little shit of a son she raised, who isn't happy with anything. That would be a shitty gift for christmas and you gave it to her... ASSHAT...
