probably going with 3 10's downfired in my s10 extended cab. need 10's that do well in smaller sealed enclosures. i have 1400 watts to power the 3 of them. that amp is 1400 @ 4 ohms so i need dual 2 or single 4 ohm coils. sq oriented. i'm leaning towards image dynamics. my mind has changed a few times. i was doing 2 12's, then 4 8's, now 3 10's. lol. i think i'll stick with the 10's. this is the box they'll be in. around 2ft.^3. crude, but i'm a sketchup noob.

IDQv3s? I just ordered one two days ago. I cant wait to get it. I think those would be perfect in that thing man. Very loud with 1400rms and very accurate and musical.
i looked at those. very interested. never heard one though. i like to buy what i've heard. i'll probably make an exception and trust the forum.

well i mean i have had the 15" IDQv2 and loved it. I am hoping that a 10" will be even more accurate than the 15v2. I read that it is way better than the v2s and that is amazing IMO. The v2 would hit any note at any volume and drums sound like drums bass guitar sound like a guitar it is amazing.

With 3 subs you're going to be looking at a weird final load. 6 or 2.67 nominal for dual 4 and 3 or 1.33 nominal for dual 2.
And the Polks in the link can handle 700rms that doesn't mean that they need it.
i've heard of my pc2350 running at 2 ohms bridged. i'd like to avoid that though. i think 3 would be okay. would you recommend sticking with 2 12's? never been hip on polk. had them, never liked them too much. personal preference, or lack thereof i guess.

I'm not recommending anything just trying to get the thought out of your head that RMS is the "required" power to the sub.

That amp is nice and it is rare and it would be a shame to ruin it. Don't run it under recommended load and I wouldn't count on impedance rise to keep you safe in a sealed box. A trio of JBL GTis would give it a nice 4 ohm load, but I'm not sure how they would like that box or if they would even fit in it.
