that large of a sealed enclosure is huge for 12s, just curious but why not port it? you can add an aero port to each side and still have enough air space for a ported enclosure and tune relatively low.

kicker subs are the only ones i've seen like large sealed enclosures.

basically i'm prepping for a new more advanced upgrade. in the meantime, my 12's which have been blown for quite some time need to be replaced as i am feeling the need to at least have something to ride to until my major upgrade later this year. thus im just gonna stick a new pair of subs in it instead of any redesign. JL Audio W0V2-4, Rockford PS14-12

honestly it does not matter just as long as it doesnt clip or bottom out with a box that size. in my younger days though i always went with SQ which is also partially why i got the large box. so i guess i am a SQ guy

yeh, just going to replace 2 blown 12's so i'm not riding around listeing to nothing. I'm planning a major upgrade though later this year with 15's

because it's an old system which utilized 2 amps, 1 on each sub each bridged 4 ohm mono to each sub..
