So today I competed in the Texas Austin Heatwave SPL comp, and got put in the modified class because my box is above the window line. It's literally no more than an inch above the window line. I couldn't put the box down, because my ground wire to amp was to short for that.
Anyways, I was a bit confused on how or what I was supposed to do, but I ended up scoring 143.7 on the kick at 44hz. I know it's not THAT bad, but I was still disappointed. Next time hopefully I'll have a better sound system and hit 150+.
Got to see The Black Nasty which was cool. Wanted a demo SO bad, but didn't get the chance. Also got to sit in Rockford Fosgates audio van which was pretty sick.
Anyone else here get to go to the heatwave?
