One JL 12w3 OR Two JL 12w0's?

Just like the title says im trading my bass guitar for subs. The guy is offering either one 12w3 or 12w0. Either choice includes an enclosure. WHICH IS BETTER?

He's also giving me an "Xtreme 500.2 amp"? No idea what this is...maybe the Orion one but not sure.

Tell me if this is a good trade...my bass is worth $200 new. I told him I want the 12w3 but i wanna check with yous guys to make sure. I was holding out for a Type R 12, but this sounds like a good trade. From what i know, type R's get louder but the JL's sound better? (at least the 12w3)

I like the w3's. So I'd pick it. Don't know the amps at all though.
