so i'm moving back to michigan tomorrow, and ever since i've been out here i've been trying to convince my roommate to go cliffdiving with me at this spot in Ka'anapali. He kept chickening out and wouldn't go. Yesterday he left for california for a week, so I had nobody to go with, so I just went down to the beach and told some guy i'd give him $20 to take a picture of me midair, and rescue me if anything happened and i needed to be rescued.

There's a sweet spot up by MTU in the UP that you can cliff jump, I've done it once, I'm afraid of heights so that was it for me.

i did flips off the smaller part, but the small part is only like 10 feet lol

I did this up in the U.P. in Michigan once. It's so much fun. Just takes you a bit to actually take the jump lol.

that was my guess. from shore it never looked that high. when i told people from home i was going to do it, i was like "uh it's like 25 feet"

then as soon as i jumped, and realized how long i was in the air for i just thought "this is way more than 25 feet" lol

this time it didn't. whenever i go on canoe trips back in MI, we stop at like every bridge and jump off.

but i climbed up there today, and the guy was down on the pier with my camera, so i didn't want to take all day. i stood at the edge, there was some tourist up there and he's like "oh man i'd love to jump" and i was like "do you mind if we trade spaces? i'd rather jump from the highest spot" and he's like "be my guest, enjoy it for both of us"

then i just stepped up and jumped off without even really thinking about it.

Where did you do it? There are a few places up here to do it I guess and since I am up here all summer I figure I should check them out.
