good rise is under 2x your resistance

you can try to smooth corners and stiffen the box,

Shorter speaker wire. Use all the same exact speaker wire no miss match. Brace the box. Thicker speaker wire. And the heat on your sub's coil can cause extra rise.

you gonna get even more rise with a bigger box, try to make this next one super solid to compensate. Have some adjustable ports as well.
