He does have a point, though. The point is that we all do things based on emotion at times. That's true. There isn't anyone here who can honestly say that they haven't. Because that's a lie.
The thing is, though, no mentally stable person would think, "Oh wow, you just called me stupid. I'll go get my M16 and shoot you now." That doesn't happen.That's not reality.

I agree with you completely man, we as Americans especially tend to do what we want when we want simply because we want to, not because it's the best choice for us.
But I would really hope that people would use logic and reason when making decisions that affect other people, and not just their own fat *****, or what ever the case may be. Cause frankly I couldn't give two fucks if someone wants to eat McDon's everyday, swell up to 400 pounds and die of a massive heart attack at 32 years old, that to me is beautiful freedom.

I agree with you completely, there are SOME police officers and districts that do indeed need this fire power. But my town sure as shyt does not, and yet every cop car has a full auto AR and a shotgun in the cabin, and usually a full auto MP5 in the trunk, along with their side arms. Seems slightly excessive in a city that is repeatedly voted one of the safest cities in the country.
Theres actually a flaw in the crown vic's trunk panel where you can break one of the reverse lights and pop open the trunk in like 5 seconds. Alot of MPLS MP5's got stolen that way. Now they have a plate installed in there (some rural areas might not have gotten that put in)
Yeah I cant find the article now it might have been removed but I remember this sticky on these crown vic forums I am on. Basically you can take a hammer or something and bust the housing of the light and access the trunk switch and gain access to the trunk very quickly

There's no need for automatic guns?! I've been around guns my whole entire life and i can tell you, if your a gun guru, THERES A NEED FOR AN AUTOMATIC GUN. Its for the thrill, the challenge , moving up to the next level of your hobby. Thats like saying a person who loves cars and tries to buy the fastest one out there. Theres no need to have a car 1000hp, but its moving up to the next level, its a hobby. Hell, even us car audio guys, do you really think we need to be listening to music at 155+ dbs? No, but because its something we love to do, something we live for, we push to get the loudest vehicle possible.
Also, does Obama really think that this will cut down criminal acts? First of all, what criminal is going to go to the nearest Gander Mt. to buy a M16/AR15 were they run background checks? If a Criminal really wants a gun, im sure he'll be buying his "Assault Rifle" in some downtown back alley way.

Haha, of course you have to have proper licensing, and I understand AR's and AK's for sport, but look at the list, who the hell needs a striker 12 or dragunov sniper rifle?
