I dont understand your statement - all AK47s are this way.......regarded as one of the best rifles ever made, reliable cheap to build and indestructible
Top tier AK variants have milled reciever FYI. My thought is if you want an assault rifle get one with a folding stock then you have the option, if you want a pistol, buy a pistol, if you want a pistol that can be modded and shoots rifle rounds get a Thompson Contender. From just the feel of handling the one I was offered I thought it was the worst of both worlds. Assuming you did want to mod something like this, what are you going to do, put a full wooden stock on it and a scope? With a 10" barrel length?

I'll defend your right to own this all day long, I just didn't think that was practical beyond being a conversation piece. I like me some AK variants, but this was the most useless one I've seen.

Putting a stock on a pistol would be illegal

I guess if you'll have fun with it that's all that matters I suppose.

Hmm, I was unaware of this. I was mostly talking in reference to the U.N. Small Arms Trade Treaty that was recently up for vote. But that also would need to be ratified by the US Senate.
the UN has no authority in the Unites States...kinda like the U.N. World Court trying to stiff arm Texas into dropping the Death penalty for a recent Mexican National...lol..they shot the U.N. the middle finger with one hand and shoved the needle in that sorry bastard with the other...**** em.

Texas sends Mexican national to death in violation of international law
Fuck yea Texas. Glad to see Americans forcing international law to take a back seat to OUR laws.

or a **** ton of ammo
When it comes down to it, having a large stock of ammo could become very important, even more so than having 50 guns with only 100 rounds on hand for each. I keep 500 rounds on hand for my .45, 1000 9mm, and a couple hundred for each shotgun/rifle as well. A gun is worthless without bullets... almost.

haha damn right, I like to hear that man! You've got quite the supply of ammo for each gun and that's what everyone needs to have in a zombie, or other fall-out type situation. When ammo becomes extremely valuable and no one is making more.
