Well, yeah.. No tweeters, and that really doesn't sound to good.

So.. I'm not sure if I also need to replace my crossovers or what..

I don't think I'm in the position to spend 100$ on a new set or anything..

SO.. Some decent tweeters to go with my PG RSD mids/ crossovers?

or is mixing and matching bad?

Hey.. Can anyone comment? please??

I would like to know, if. Or how I can test if my crossover is blown as well as my tweeter.

And some recommendations for tweeters!

THanks.

Eh.. I think i'll buy the tweeters I WANT, and use that as a Test..

I can always wait.. I'd rather wait then waste money. (really don't have any to spare, but this is "necessary" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I have some Power Acoustik NB-2 tweeters with my RSD mids, and they sound good. They are brighter than the RSD tweets though, not really my style. I am still looking for a better set also.

I am actually looking for another set of RSD mids, if you want to sell them and buy another comp set let me know. I would be willing to take them off your hands for the right price.

I wouldn't know how much to ask for.. :/

OH.. they are 5.25's.. which you probably don't want.

UCF52- Thanks, and do you know of anyplace to get them besides "madisound"??

Not new. You can try DIYMA and see if you can score some used ones. There is also a Blaupunkt tweeter I see recomended every once in a while.. and IIRC they were pretty cheap.

Crossovers are basic R/L/C circuits. It would take a lot to blow them. To test, hook up more tweeters. Wal-Mart sells crappy generic sets for $10...
High-order crossovers can blow pretty easily if you run them without a tweeter attached.

are both sides not working?

you can use any type of speaker to see if the tweet out on the crossover is working

if you have a mid it will work well enough to let you know if the tweet is blown or if the crossover is bad
