Well shit....

Try taking a flat head screw driver and putting it between the basket and enclosure at one of the screw holes. Lightly tap the screw driver with a hammer (LIGHTLY!). Do this on the opposite side and work your way around in a star pattern. That should help loosen it up but make sure to be gentle. The last thing you want to do is throw the screw driver through and puncture the surround or cone. Don't try to pry as the angled head of the driver will do that for you.
Thats did the trick.

shouldve use plasti dip on the bottom of the box.

it is like a spray on rubber so the box wont move or anything.

what subs you got anyways?

He didnt have an issue with it moving, im guessing you put the sub in before the paint fully cured or indeed your hole was a tad to small. Either way glad to hear ya got the bugger out.
