I just built a new box because I am going from two subs to just one...

I just got the box out of the car, and unscrewed the sub, and well... The sub is stuck to the box! I don't know what to do...... I have tried pulling prying and twisting.... And I really don't want to have to resort to tearing the box apart.

Any input would be great.

Try taking a flat head screw driver and putting it between the basket and enclosure at one of the screw holes. Lightly tap the screw driver with a hammer (LIGHTLY!). Do this on the opposite side and work your way around in a star pattern. That should help loosen it up but make sure to be gentle. The last thing you want to do is throw the screw driver through and puncture the surround or cone. Don't try to pry as the angled head of the driver will do that for you.

it just needs more cowbell.
DEFINATELY!

I got a fever and the only cure is more cowbell
