---oh, and if its not a cult why does it take all day to get married in a temple where no one but other mormons are allowed to partake in said ceremony and the bride and groom are seperated for all but the last 1/2 hour of the wedding ceremony? If you want to hear it, the FLDS is a sect of polygamists which is exactly what the lds religion is based on. The only, ONLY reason they got rid of polygamy is to gain statehood. The prophet of the church had a very convient "vision" from baby jesus that told him that polygamy was not right. They have had similar "vision" about african americans and gays in the religion.

So FLDS and LDS are different? And LDS = mormon, correct? Anyways, I hate them because for some d*mn reason, one of my friends dated like 3 in a row. Dont ask me why he did...but none the less, they were all crazy b*tches. Yep, FLDS= fundamentalist church of the latter day saints, LDS=church of the latter day saints. The difference is FLDS practices the religion the way is was written by the illiterate 14 yr old Joseph Smith (with polygamy and all), LDS practices the way they have evolved since then to still be wacky, just socially acceptable (aka no polygamy).

Well, I dont know about mormons being socially accepted down here in the south. Perhaps legally accepted is a better term for them. And 7 years....wow...I dont know about you, but my friend says he never got any Tang in the3- 4 years he was dating a mormon. So yeah, a big waste of time.

Apparently its the Mormon religion the way it was originally intended. And even some extra shit thrown in for shits and giggles. Though this is very illegal in the US. Some of the stuff includes poligamy(sp), pre arranged marriages, and pedophilia.
