I think the country would be much more prepared for a black man than a white women to lead the country right now. You have to think about it, all the issues we are having are for the most part in the middle east. A large portions of these countries dont allow women any rights once so ever. To elect a women into such a high office would more than likely destroy relations with countries that we are in conflict with.

bush 41 cut a shit load of defense as well. And a smaller military wouldn't really be an issue is we weren't bogged down in an unwinnable war with no purpose.

The Secretary of Defense recommended these cuts after consultation with the Joint Chiefs of Staff. And I make them with confidence. But do not misunderstand me. The reductions I have approved will save us an additional $50 billion over the next 5 years. By 1997, we will have cut defense by 30 percent since I took office.

You think? Shit I betcha most higher power leaders would come over here, live here for a certain time and then become a citizen just so they could vote for someone else other than Bush. Only good thing about this, is after Bush's term is over, then at least someone else could get in. I at this point dont really care who it is, as long as they are not named bush or are related in any sense.

i think you are right, UNLESS McCain wins the GOP nomination. McCain is calling for a lot more troops in iraq. Like another 100-150K.

Given the choice between a woman/black pres and what McCain wants.. i think we might just go for the brother.. or the chic

Ive always thought that since women are viewed as inferior to men in many countries, that electing a woman as president would make us looks weak or inferior ourselves and possibly lead to a war. Me and a friend were talking the other day, and im like "You know, a black guy may be running for president in 08" and he's like, "dude, if a black dude gets elected president, im moving to canada.." But if you really think about it, the only black person that would ever be elected isnt going to be your typical low-class, 28's on an $800 car, 6x9's across the back dash black person.

Okay so david is a redneck.... his girlfriend is black though. Besides, I never said we SHOULD vote a black man into office... Just that america is more likely to votea black man than a white woman. Anywayz, most of america doesnt know about views of other cultures, nor do I think they really care... which is a really sad thing.
