a member of roe sent me an mtx 9500 to recone... (seems 4" recones are hard to come by" i asked him to include the soft parts... he decided to wall it(no problem) but ive never seen an out come like this!

Which is why I stopped using MTX 9500's over three years ago. It would be a nice sub if they just werent put together so shitty.

Snoop, what # could you get MTX 95's to do?

My friend has a install using 2 (500 15's on 1600W in 6cubes at 34hz and he cant break 140DB.. He was all cocky and shit about his setup, plus it was installed by a group of faggits at a local shop I hate.. he got jacked tho.. /story

Was doing 150 in the kick at 47 hz with two of the 15's on a 4kw amp. IMO they're not the best SPL subs in the world, if even considered an SPL sub at all. Ive never known anyone who's got spectacular scores with them.
