welding wire vs car audio size

My educated guess is something like 2awg or 1/0 welding. Somewhere in the half the size range. But welding is much less flexible, ofc audio is the way to go. The shuriken agm battery I bought had some 2/0 welding cable leads on it, I’ll try to get a pic here in a minute.

Less flexible yes, but my 2/0 welding was flexible enough and saved me a bunch

I'd think in Op's case the smaller gauge would be plenty flexible for his purposes unless he's got some crazy tight corners to get around.
