Welding cable

I have some 2/0 welding cable laying around. Would this be good to do my big 3 with? Or even power and ground cables for amps?

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but what exactly is welding cable? I see people using it in there set ups, I'm aware its obviously cable, but is it used particularly for certain applications or is it just a well known name?

It is fine stranded ofc power cable. Same as power wire you buy at the store at a fraction of the price.

Just like any other wire. What you can run depends on gauge and length of the run.

You can run a lot more than 2k off 2/0. Easily get upwards of 3-4k.

you can run as much as your batteries/ alt can handle. just with 2/0 you wont need as many runs

You can run a lot more than 2k off 2/0. Easily get upwards of 3-4k.
