welding cable

what the difference between 1/0, 2/0, 3/0 cable, dont have a go at me please, always something new to learn LOL

ok cool. I just want equivalent to 0awg so will ask the welding suppliers for 1/0 awg (ought) which I take it is what the majority use

The link that gangsta posted up those are one of the best tool's you can buy. I have used it before and love using it on ring terminals really helps out:D. Also bro just remember when your stripping the wire easiest way to do it is just take a sharp blade(preferablly a razor blade and cut around the jacket of the wiring in a circle while turning the wire while pressing down force on the wire. Thats what i do and works great:D.

Hey dude, thanx for the tip. Funny enough, I never thought of doing this in the past and have had several fights with my cutters and cable LOL. Will use this method from now on.

if you take a ball of solder or a good amount put it in the 1/0 lug and use a torch to get the solder to a liquid molten state aka melted, you can just insert your 1/0 cable into the lug and call it a day. using a hammer or vice is really not recomended however my method is probably not either, but I like the solder better looks clean too.
