why is the 2/0 gauge wire i bought from welding supply the same size as the 1/0 gauge hyperflex i used for my big three. is it really 2/0 gauge wire?

It does but I though it would be bigger than 1/0 gauge but it looks like its the same size guess its the insulation or something

never bought the hyperflex cause the regular weldingwire was flexible enough.

But idk the 2/0 should have alot more strands of wire.

maybe the kicker stuff is oversized? I bought some 1/0 from welding supply and it's noticeably smaller than the knu 1/0 I have...
