Welcome Home

webber's passing skills are not to be underestimated and webber is about the 5th option in detroit, so yea he isn't #1 or 2 like in sacremento and philly.
I figured you would say that. Thing is he was still averaging good numbers with a lot of talent around him in Sac and philly. He hasnt been a num 1 in a while and I wouldnt consider him a number 2 either when he was in philly.

philly had good talent? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif please tell me who was #2 in philly? and who was #1 in sacremento?

andre iguodola, kyle korver, samuel dalmbert, yea i can see all the talent and how webber wouldn't be the #2 option //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

He was #1 in sacramento, when he went to philly, you had Allen Iverson and then Andre Igwodala was coming into his own. Then this year Andre was for sure the number 2 guy and then Iverson got traded and now he is the man in philly. I think he will be an all star for many years to come.

chris webber is also attempting by far fewer shots. he's normally around 19 attempts per game, this year 9
Duh, he has all those other stars in Detriot, remember.

Also remember Ben Gordan from last couple years, hell even this year, he had limited mins. and was averaging some pretty impressive numbers. Webbers just not the Webber he used to be. And that is if he got the ball a lot more.

You are completley nutz if you dont think Andre will not be a star in this league. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

so the moral of the story is the pistons are 10-2 with webber. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif it's not all about webber's stats, he makes other players better especially rasheed. no more can teams double rasheed down low cause webber can knock down open jumpers.

philly's talent does not compare to detroit's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif if it did, then philly would be near the top of the east along with detroit

Didnt realize I was comparing teams?

I said Andre Igwodala is gonna be a star and he has much talent. He will be a superstar in this league the next couple of years, you can mark my words if you would like. I hate Philly, but love his game.

imo i think this pistons team is better then last year. as a team they are rebounding better, and holding opposing teams to a lower fg% without ben wallace. if rasheed would work more in the low post that would really help the pistons. all 5 of the pistons starters can knock down jumpers, and 4 of them have 3 point range so you cannot double rasheed down low, and with rasheed's shooting ability and long arms, he can get his shot off at will on the low block. also the bench is better then years past.

What you said in the NBA thread.

i think it's clear now they are not a championship calibur team but i'll give them more time. if by the trade deadline they are around 500, i'd trade billups and try to unload rasheed or nazr. i just can't figure out rasheed. he is one of the most talented big men in the game, but never gets it done. he is one of the all-time underacheivers

read the bolded terms. i said i'd give them more time and obviously they have improved to a championship calibur team now with webber. Rasheed is still one of the leagues all-time underachievers. i watched him against toronto and he was great. when he was calling for the ball down low he simply abused chris bosh and rasheed was great defensivly.
