Welcome Home

3 different articles pubpished at 3 different times, in sports there are always rumors circling..
HOWEVER on Tuesday night on TNT WEBBER himself said that Detroit was not really in the mix and HE ever called out David Aldridge for reporting that there was a chance of it happening because apparently it wasn't even a factor at that time, i have it on my DVR, he said that he was intrigued by Orlando he really wanted to work with Dwight Howard...

Orlando worked hard on a dealing with him, if you read the papers and check a few press sites, you can see different clips about it, they were closer than anyone else NOT named Detroit, even from his agent, who is the same agent as Dwight Howard and Carlos Arroyo BOTH of the Orland Magic...

do you want me to say im happy for you? ok, im happy for you...Detroit got him, he will be an upgrade, how much? not too much i don't think...depends on where his heart is, he just pulled a Vince Carter and T-Mac in Philly (great sportsmanship by the way) so hopefully for Detroit he comes out swinging...if not? no big deal hes a cheap vet with great IQ...no loss

again Sheed is the locker room problem, Larry Brown? lol yea I trust that guy...any way there are various GM's who have spoken negatively about Sheed, you must have the bias because you have only heard the positive about him from certain people and your magnifying that, its not like you know for a fact, and again there have been discussions from many players and officials saying that with the blazers' hawks and pistons hes not a great guy to have in the locker room....I have no bias, and wouldn't even mind sheed on my team if I could guantee he wouldn't cause trouble...screw technicals, if i played id probably double his...

lol the hawks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif he played one game in atlanta //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif lmao orlando was never ahead of detroit, los angeles or miami for webber. you still haven't named these lockeroom personalities. what troubles has rasheed caused? since coming into the league rasheed has done nothing but win, and has always been an unselfish player. all that shit in portland got blamed on rasheed cause he was the most vocal. never did you hear about rasheed punching players like bonzi wells. yes rasheed had one incident where he got caught with weed. almost every pro nba player smokes weed.

never mind, you win, your one of those guys...k thnx, njoy

ps. i clearly stated earlier that i was referring to sheed...so you have still yet to read that part...also i CLEARLY stated that Orlando was ahead of everyone NOT named Detroit, but guess you didn't read that either...no problem...

Sheed for president, greatest baller ever, everyone in the league likes him...holler!

lmao you make statements about sheed that don't make sense and you get this pissy attitude? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/hilarious.gif.02a037aad04aa96f19982b298a3d70a8.gif you're cracking me up. we're on the second page and you still haven't named these personalities. you have nothing more to say about rasheed since you know nothing of the situation, so your great comeback is sheed for president? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif where did i ever say he was a great player? i mentioned nothing of his game.

listen, cant argue Sheed's skill, its something he doesn't lack...

however, he is a head case, and is THE head case I was referring to, so stop briing that up...THE headcase...

quote from an ESPN insider and long time Detroit fan....

"Having said that, I think Wallace has great game, and the thing that bothers me most about him is imagining what an incredible player he would be if he removed his head from his *** long enough not to be a negative influence on his team and instead focused on what his job is supposed to be, to play friggin' basketball.

Last game contained a stretch that perfectly illustrated Rasheed's petulant, child-like *******-ishness. Upon not getting a foul call, Wallace goes through his usual smiling, persistent homeless guy that doesn't know when to stop routine. After not getting the call reversed (as is always the case with other players), Rasheed goes into pout mode. The referee tosses him the ball to inbound. He doesn't move and the ball bounces off his chest and onto the ground. At this point, the official is getting pissed and rightfully so. What are you, Rasheed, five freaking years old? What, you don't want to wait in line at the bank, so you're just going to fall on the floor and play dead? I thought the official handled it very well. He bent down, picked the ball up and laid it at Wallace's feet and IMMEDIATELY started counting off five for him to pick it up and inbound.

Anyway, what I'm getting at with all this (other than just pointing out what a baby he is) is that if Wallace could just show officials some respect and not act like a such an ***, he would get the benefit of the doubt on calls and score more and become a top echelon superstar. What is it that's so **** hard about that?"

obviously from a year ago, but still reflects some of his personality traits, actions that many teams would steer clear of...and its a shame, because he IS a great asset on the floor...and yes these are still traits that he exuberates today...

Sheed was called a difficult player to manage by both Brown and Saunders, Brown was the only coach that was able to compliment Sheed, which is why he flourished so much under him...

he has a way about him which makes people think he's a head case, he always has, i cant believe your so blind to it, acting like i'm breaking news here...when he doesn't get his way, he pouts and causes problems, its FACT...is that not why he was just benched by Saunders?

man where are we now?

hows the Hill trade working out? what are you 5? i mean thats not even relevant here, your just trying to rub salt in a wound that doesn't even exist with me...he playing fine now, and hey that contract is off the books in a few months, thats a HUGE contract to come off the books, as a matter of fact, its the biggest one in this off season...free agent signings?

so hey, is Chauncey gonna opt out? u know he is, hes only set to make 7 million next season if he doesn't...

and i don't have anymore time to dig up things you can find using the ol' google...surely you already know that Sheed is a case, and you don't need me to dig it up for you, i don't understand why your in such denial, its preposterous really...

ps. thanks for the free promotion...

yes chauncey will opt out. post a link to that article cause i never seen someone from espn use that language ever before. that does not look like it's written from a professional.

so who are these personalities? i was the one who possibly mentioned sheed, and yet nothing from you yet.

Anyway, I dont really think he is gonna add much to Detriot. He is getting up in age and C. Webb has a horrible attitude. I dont think they will like him much in Detriot. Just IMO though.
fans gave him a standing ovation in detroit. he's playing for a contender and in his hometown so i think he'll have a better attitude. when he was in sacremento he never had "attitude" problems. with webber he adds more rebounding, as this season he'll have the most rpg on the pistons. so how does that not help the pistons? he is also one of the best passing centers in the game. rasheed, tayshaun, hamilton, and billups can all hit jumpshots so that'll work well with webber's passing ability. also webber can still make open jumpshots and with the way the pistons move the ball on offense and all their good shooters, webber will get open looks. webber is not the 20-10 guy he used to be, but he can contribute a lot to the team.

pistons are 10-2 with chris webber //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
Yeah, he still isnt that impressive to me. I mean he is having his worst year to date. I know, he has a lot of talent around him right?

Anyway, I just seen Baron Davis is having knee surgery. Sucks for him and the Warriors. And they just traded all those players to hopefully make a run, lol!

webber's passing skills are not to be underestimated and webber is about the 5th option in detroit, so yea he isn't #1 or 2 like in sacremento and philly.
