Weirdest problem ever

Hey guys, im new to the forum i had to join because i am having the weirdest issue with my car audio system. I currently have a pioneer double din headunit connected to a 4 channel amp powering 4 midrange speaker. When i turn my radio on everything works perfectly but once the radio dims for night time use i get a constant high pitched (maybe 1khz) coming though my speakers. Now this only happens when the radio dims which i find extremely weird. I am not using the dimmer wire from my radio harness as i often drive with my headlights on in the daytime so the radio simply dims according to the time so every time 8pm comes around the sound starts. I eventually just took off the feature and decided to keep my brightness up which blinds the crap out of me when driving at night. Please help i have no idea what else to check i have tried everything!!!

well that could just be short inside unit.. all u can do is check ground (or add one to back of it) check amp ground make sure not paint under it sand it) other thing to try is run set of rcas to amp over top of seats see if it's just weird rca problem and could be amp.. i had bad amp once my radio didn't work at all i assumed antenna came unplugged nope unplugged amp radio worked..

I bought new RCA by KnuKoncepts and made sure all my grounds were good and clean and even used a multimeter to double check all grounds i relocated the radio ground twice already and still the same issue not sure what else to try. I have also grounded the rca to the unit and the casing of the unit to a chasis ground and nothing.

Hey thanks for getting back to me. So ive tried hooking up the dimmer wire and the noise is exactly the same. The sound wont be there until i turn on my headlights and the radio dims, then the noise comes back right away. Something new ive noticed, the noise is also popping up after about 40 minutes of non stop music playing, and it wont go away unless i turn the headunit off and turn it back on.
