Weed

Yeah weed is great for nausea. I was on a medication that had me throwing up. I smoked a bowl and the nausea was completely gone.

Meh not really, let's leave it at being a much debated element of society that some people will take forever to accept just like so very many other social issues in the span of history, people don't like change but in the end they are usually made to conform to or accept it and then they just go on with life forever different without even realizing it, that's how society changes and evolves
Don't get me wrong, I am all for full legalization of everything, and you can do all the dope you want for all I care, but don't pretend you're sober when you're constantly stoned.

Unless in my eyes due to the issues at hand I feel as though its a medicine just as someone who takes pain killers or muscle relaxers is "high" even though he takes them for an on going constant pain only difference mine helps me in manners not related to pain, and on that not what about the people who take xanax and Prozac for the same issues I do, I regulate it just as a person does that takes those

People on SSRI's aren't living in reality either and people who chose the route of chemical lobotomy aren't welcome in my life, every single person I've met that's hooked on those things has brought me nothing but trouble. People who are on benzo's have a habit that is potentially fatal if they stop, they are most assuredly stung out and NOT sober. They can have their jelly beans and you can have your grass, just don't pretend you're sober. Why not just admit you like being stoned all the time and leave it at that? I can totally deal with pot-heads, just be honest about it.

What I'm wondering is, why do you even care? A lot of people consider it a medicine, not a drug. If he wants to consider himself sober that's his choice. The true definition of being sober is to not be inebriated/intoxicated by a substance, which weed does not do to regular smokers. There's also a lot of people taking other drugs (such as xanax) that are NOT addicted to it (people you see living normal lives) but by your definition any time they take it they aren't sober. So where do you draw the line? If a medicine has a drowsy side effect does that mean you're no longer sober?

Sure... Not addicted to Xanax, but if they stopped taking them they'd get dope-sick and possibly seize out and die. And you're saying that if you smoke refer all day every day you're not high? You can't bullshit a bullshitter, kid, sell that to somebody else.

Naught for nothing, but if you are taking drugs every day and go into withdrawals if you can't get your fix you have a habit, or chemical dependency....which in my book is not really synonymous with "sober", more like "strung out". Druggies can tell themselves whatever they want to justify their habit, but some of us are a little too savvy to not call bullshit on that.

I'm sorry but that's just simply not true. You have to have a fairly sizeable addiction before you would have that strong of withdrawl effects. Again usage =/= addiction.

And you're saying that if you smoke refer all day every day you're not high?
What I said was, the technical definition of sober was being inebriated by a substance (aka impaired) and if you're a heavy enough smoker you can smoke and still function perfectly fine.

Marijuana doesn't really have any withdrawal symptoms. I was a very heavy user and I quit cold turkey with nothing other than some anxiety and weird dreams for a day or two...

You're entitled to your opinion but I suggest you take a long hard look in the mirror before you go casting judgement on others.

What am I looking for there? All I hear from you is "I can stop any time I want but I don't want to stop" line. I've seen plenty of people ride that one right down life's sewer. I'm glad that some people can hold down a habit and "function" just fine.... just fine so long as they get their fix every day I guess. Game recognize... You aren't fooling me, so I don't know who you're trying to convince.

Did you miss the part where I said clearly that I DID quit? I'm not saying I can, I know I can, it already happened bud.

Dude, I see where you're coming from, and I agree to an extent - but you're acting like somebody smoking pot daily 'needs a fix' just to get by..? Bubbagumper made a point when he said the heavier pot smokers can function perfectly fine even while they're on a high, but the bolded part of your statement seemed almost irrelevant, just because that's not really how weed smokers function. I'm by no mean an expert on the subject, but like he said, usage doesn't necessarily mean addiction. In fact, I probably know more people truly addicted to alcohol than marijuana, and booze has gotten my friends into a heck of a lot more trouble than weed ever has. It just seems like all you've done is attempt to defend your viewpoint on how you see weed - which is fine, everybody is entitled to their own. But guys here, especially those like chef who you were directly speaking towards...they just don't care.

This ^ I can smoke and nobody would ever be able to tell from the amount of buds I smoke ..

Just relaxes me there's no munchies or red eyes lmao ... And I quit for several days here and there all the time

When I leave the state or go somewhere where I don't feel comfortable bringing any ... There's a huge difference between a drug addict

And some one who smokes some buds in the evening ... I have friends that drink almost daily and they have ran into a lot more issues then me ... I think comparing that is a joke but you can have whatever opinion you want
