I always wear my seatbelt. Its just plain stupid not too. I can honestly say that a seatbelt has already saved my life once. My friends SUV flipped when we got cut off by a truck that then proceded to slam on its brakes after it cut us off. My friends dad reacted and swirved out of the way, blew 2 tires out, and caused the car to roll onto its side.

How in the hell do you get caught without a seatbelt? A cop would almost have to stick his head in your car while your driving by to actually be able to see that you don't have it on.

You'd think so. I've been ticketed twice. 1st offense = $100

2nd offense = $300

An inspection is just that...the state "inspects"your car,to make sure its safe,some states being more assinine than others.The only "inspection" we have in TN is emissions testing.Big metal hoobajoob up your cars butt,an all.

The standard inspection is my parish (we dont have counties =p) is they check to see if ur tails, blinkers, brake lights, headlights, horn, etc work. Sometimes if its jsut hot as balls, they walk around real quick, and give you ur brake tag. lol.

What does an expired inspection mean?
And to the guy who said a cop can't tell if you're wearing a seat belt, the strap is easily visible through the back window.

In NY you have to have your vehicle inspected once a year to make sure breaks are good, horn seatbelt works, tires have tread, all that nonsense...... all I see it as is a 21 dollar payment to NY state //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

In louisiana a smoking ban went into effect at the start of the new year, banning smoking in restaurants (sp?), public buildings (or public at all), and schools. Also, if anyone under the age of 12 (IIRC, may be a bit older) is in your car, you can't smoke.

Its not THAT bad in NY yet... just you cannot smoke inside any public buildings.

i usually wear my strapon. that seems to be enough.
