Weak Signal to Subs, Amp blown or wiring problems?

i had to turn my lows up on the eq settings. I had them set at -1 for other genres of music and i turned it up to +6 and got the subs kickin again. Try turning your low's up on your head unit.

mine is stock, there is just a bass meter, and that doesnt really change stuff that much. ill mess with it tho

just came back from the garage, messed with the audio settings but since its a stock HU, their is just a bass setting and treble, when i reduce the treble, the subs hit a lil bit harder.

i strongly emphasize the word lil.

no, when you reduce the trebel it just sounds like your subs are hitting harder because the highs are being reduced. Don't let that fool you.

so did you get this fixed?
not yet, still havent got time to meet up with the guy and go to his store. funny thing though today, it was still weak but hitting harder (this time it actually shook my rear view mirror once or twice lol. freakin loose wiring or bad wiring somewhere. as long as its not the amp, which its not, im all good.

I would check your rca cables, I would make sure your ground is mounted on the frame. If none of this works try to find a friend who would let you hook up there amp or head unit. trouble shoot all your wires even the head unit. Make sure positive and negitive is right on your subs. good luck scottaudio74

OK, so this is what happened.

I took it to best buy yesterday and they said my amp was set to really low for a reason, so they fixed it and its much much much better but its not like before. (btw it was always wired to 1 ohm)

i pulled up my seat today and looked at my rca cables that are connected to my loc. everything seems fine, i think im going to get new rca cables and see if thats the problem.
