Alright so for those who followed up on my noob questions, ive been learning but still have questions.

alright so heres the deal , im going to make it nice and easy

subs work but are very weak, they are not blown, believe me.

the amp turns on.

i fastened the ground wires, (it was loose before, but still has problem anyway)

test: i connected my ipod through rca to the amp, and my subs hit, just not loud ( better than how it sounds through the head unit). what does this mean?

at one moment the subs were perfect, then i parked my car, and when i turned it back on, its still messed up.

equip:

amp - power acoustik a2400db

subs - 2 12" kicker l7 dual 4, but only 2 coils connected for now. 04s12l7

can it possibly me my rca wires? because i bought everything used off my friend, and he had it for like a year when he was using this before me.

SUGGEST YOU READ FIRST--->>>>and everything was working perfectly until i hit a bump, at that point it stopped working, then i disconnected everything then put it back together. (thats when it worked fine, until i parked my car [as stated above])

sorry if im still noob, but trust me, im getting better at this. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Lol i typed that last line for you. Im meeting up this one guy tomorrow right next to my house and see what he says. Dont trip bro, ill get everything to work and ill make u proud lol

You may have knocked one your ground or power wire loose. The ipod volume needs to be turned all the way up to get an acceptable signal on my HU (you may also want to use the aux +db if available) Be sure to lift the volume limit on the ipod to the max.

As for the woofer wiring what do you mean? Do you only have wires run to one side of the woofer? That is very bad. you could damage it doing that. Follow one of the patterns presented here: http://rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=2&woofer_imp=4

for when i said i connected the ipod , i meant directly . I used an adaptor to connect from where the headphones go to the rca of the amp. And i dont think it was loud at all when i did it. And what do u mean by acceptable signal?
