How are they going to lose money? The government is forcing you to buy insurance from those same insurance companies. Its kind of funny how the democrats act like they are the health care experts when many more republican congressmen (1 out of 10) were or are doctors. Kind of like the democrats owning civil rights when more republicans in office supported it than democrats ...

Because they actually have to provide health care now.

They can't deny people with pre-existing conditions and they can't drop you when you get sick.

And if you can't afford Health care insurance you can apply for it via medicaid.

Healthcare negotiates the hospital's fees so they don't over charge you AS much.

The government is attempting to regulate the healthcare industry so THEY don't overcharge you as much.

My guess is you do not know what a subsidy is. Things like medicare and medicaid drive up costs because doctors lose money with those entitlements so they charge everyone else more to make up for it.
