For speakers, increasing the level of you HPF front and rear. For sub, increasing LPF. Problem with all of that is you run the risk of your bass draging or sounding a little muddy. All this can be done from your head unit if you have those settings to play with.
x2take your system out for a month and then put it back in. it'll seem louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Going from 60-80 to over 120 makes it sound a little louder to me, but it also makes it sound more directional....which I don't particularly care for.Um, no.
You should have them set optimally upon installation. There should be no need to adjust them in order to "get more bass".
Also, your filters are not going to give you "extra bass" unless you have them completely turned off, and then switch them on.
Also, a high pass filter on your speakers has nothing to do with adding bass. In fact, it prevents bass from reaching the speaker.
You say increasing the LPF for the sub will give you gains. Yeah, I suppose if you like your subs to play up to 125hz or so you would catch a few more frequencies...not going to make it "louder" though.
