I could, but it would be detracting in my setup, plus I'd have to seal off the trunk entirely, rather have the acoustical advantage of the airflow of the entireFire the subs forward.
Thanks for the idea, but I rather not have to deal with issues of excursion subwoofers hitting the grill when things get deep. I was thinking more along theThey make cheap metal grills for subs that can withstand normal stuff boucing in the trunk. It wouldn't take a hit from a toolbox or something heavy... If they did get scratched or bent beyond repair, they're cheap enough to replace.

Could you explain what you mean though. It's not an option for me but, I was told if you wanted to fire the subs forward (toward the chamber of the vehicle)I understand that you don't want to do that, but your reasoning is not correct.
