wattage quest ?ONE SUB WONT HIT????????

I have the TWO 10" JBL GTO Series GTO804 with the Almani 1100 amp. I also have a Rockford Fosgate 1farad capacitor hook up in the system. The problem is that after a while ONE of the subs will just STOP working COMPLETELY and I cant get it to work or do anything. The second one still works fine, however does sounds a little weak. What's going on??? Why is this happening? How do I fix it. (some days it works some days it doesn't)

double check all your connections.

bad connections or maybe the amp kinda shorts out when it gets hot

i've checked all of the wires still the same issue. I DID have a 500wat amp and some sorry dual subs in before. Those got blown and I upgraded to the jbls and new amp, without changing the wiring...would that also be a cause
