wattage calculation

ok, just need to refresh my math skills......

watts are volts X current

current can be calculated by volts DIVIDED BY ohms.

so if i have a 1 ohm sub, by dividing the volts by 1 i get the same number as the volts, so for watts on a 1 ohm sub setup to calculate the watts i could just do the volts multiplied by itself, because it'd still be volts X current.......?

pleasec constructivly correct me if i'm wrong......
