wat anl fuses should i use?

ok so i will be fusing my 1500d and 100.2 so my question is what size anl fuses should i use for each? i was told that you should use a smaller anl fuse than that which is on the amp so that itll actually blow first before it blows the ones on the amp, is this true? atm all stores where i live are outta 150 anl fuses so i was thinking of sticking a 200 anl fuse for the 1500d instead, is this ok and will the fuse blow before the amp or no? if it helps i will be using 2awg for the 1500 and 4awg for the 100.2. thx peeps!

You fuse the wire, not the amp. 2 gauge line should have a max fuse size of 225. The 4 gauge line should have a max of 150.
