Figured I'd just link you into the thread I poasted about it a while back. As long as you're sure you're not clipping and they are in no way HOT it should be alright... I can play mine for an hour straight at full tilt... which I do on a semi-regular basis and the caps never get more than slightly warm to the touch.Yes. just warm, not hot
Easy to say because it's probably true, but 1200W is a lot of heat any way you cut it and IMO warming up the coil is to be expected. As long as it isn't getting stinky I don't think it'll do any harm.clipping
Im running it at 3ohms, it should only be getting around 600 maybe 700 at mostEasy to say because it's probably true, but 1200W is a lot of heat any way you cut it and IMO warming up the coil is to be expected. As long as it isn't getting stinky I don't think it'll do any harm.
Whatever. Put your hand on a 100W lightbulb and let me know if 100W is a lot of heat. In any event warm is normal, smelly is bad.Im running it at 3ohms, it should only be getting around 600 maybe 700 at most

That'll teach you that even 100W of power is a lot of heat! You have learned a valueable physics lesson that you won't soon forget.Just burned myself //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif thanks man....
