Getting the most bass out of 2k.. What subs?

I have an AQ2200D. I've used it on a lot of small subs, (Obviously with the gain barely even moved) and I want to upgrade to a real sub. I've been looking at the HDC3 18", Fi BL, Sundown audio's subs.

What would get me the most bass out of my amp? Assuming I have plenty of space and a pretty decent budget. I was thinking of running two AQ HDC3 18's, but those wouldn't be getting enough power. I was then looking at two Fi BL 18's and thinking of running those at .5. (I have a great electrical). Thoughts?

2 copper coil HDC's would do fine off that amp at .5

Yes they could take more, but that doesn't mean they need that much to get loud for daily...

Agreed with not worrying about under powering a pair of subs. Just fit the most cone area that you can in a proper box. You should be able to get very loud with two 18's on 2k. Look at some Fi SSD's if you don't plan on upping the power. The BL, Icon, or Xcon are other great choices.

For the HDC's I'd do around 7.5cubes per sub if you have the room...

"What box?" Should be your question... That's gonna make the deciding factor.

Not enough info. Do you have the ability to run .5? Do you want the loudest setup or one that can actually play music? How much space do you have? Budget?

Out of those, what should I run for a loud daily setup? I'm pretty set on two 18's, I just need to know which ones. I can run at .5, but is prefer to run at 1 ohm. Would the hdc3's get loud on 2k? Or would the Fi BL / Fi SSD's be a better choice for this amount of power?

I'm starting to think it might be more worth it to just get a better alternator and run .5 with some hdc3's.
