hey, im thinking about replacing my alpine cda - 9856 for an alpine IVA-W200

and yes i understand its 2-din. i have an 04 f-150 which is a double din. so it will fit.

good or bad idea. if not the IVA-W200, what else should i take a look at?

well i wanted advice on if it was shitty or not cause its one of the cheaper ones and i didnt want to get riped off.

i wanted some feedback maybe? if its bad or w.e... seemed pretty good to me.

the only watchout is that the navi and bluetooth are optional features and require some extra equipment. For bluetooth you need the adapter ($199 at crutchfield) and the optional DVD GPS navi unit NVE-N872A is like $1699 at crutchfield as well

well i do have the w200 and its pretty awesome but if you are looking for tuning options, the w200 itself isn't all that great. but thats why i bought the h701. plus the navigation add on is pretty expensive. i've seen them on craigslist for $700 and thats the absolute cheapest i've seen. if you want a double din with navigation, maybe look at the eclipse avn6600. it has pretty much everything.

Check out the d310 too, its single DIN but has a detachable face for security. I just picked up a d300 and it is SWEET. Cant go wrong with any alpine!
