These things kill below 1 ohm though. And btw, with car on and system at moderate to loud volumes, both my batts measure ~15.5 volts...

Great amps. Get another if you can. Thats what I would do. If we ever get ours back from bob, I can sell you one real cheap.

Am I wrong or something by believing a physicist that on a 16V setup, they were getting around 5Kw off this amp?

I probably will get another one...

I'll just stick to .5 ohm.....

You must have had a lucky vfl if it burped at .25 on 16v

Boominbeast, a pair will do 5000w if on 16v+

Don't get me wrong though, it was hard enough on them for them to have 6 spares. BUT, they did do it.

And they were getting around 5KW from each.
