Wanted: Someone from the Chicago Area to help me install my system

I'm not sure if this is the right place so if it doesn't belong here please move it (if it's not allowed please delete it).

I'm looking for someone to teach me how to do installation of my audio stuff. I just bought my first auto (94 Jeep Cherokee) and will be installing a headunit, two subs in my ported box, and an amplifier. I'm located in the NW suburbs of Chicago (downtown Barrington) and would be willing to travel for help. I've had a side business of detailing cars for 3 years now and would be willing to help you in ways that I can (detailing wise) or I could bring a case of beer.

My set up:

Sony CDX-F5700 Head Unit

Clarion DPX1800 Amplifier

2 Memphis Power Reference DVC 12's

4 gauge amp wiring kit

I'm not sure if I want to buy Phoenix Gold Rsd5's now or wait til later. I won't buy an amp for the components any time soon so I'm not sure if the head unit would give enough power to make it worth it.

As I am a poor college student I don't have the money to pay someone to do this for me and I would much rather learn how to do it myself for the future.

If you wanted to drive to central IL i would help ya out. But its still about 3 hours from barrington. What are you unsure of about installing it yourself?

i'd help ya, but i don't like installing HU's for people i don't know. if you spend the 50 bux and get it installed, i can help ya with the rest. just not when it's snowing

my friend had a 94 and i think a 98 grand cherokee. it wasn't hard to install a system. for your hu go to installdr.com goes step by step to remove and install your hu.
