Wanted: Recone kits for Soundstream XXX-15 (high roll surround 2009 model) quad 1 ohm

I need them you got them... I hope. My subs are still brand new but I am thinking about the future and how much I plan on competing this season alone I want to stock up on kits for the long haul. PM me if ya want or post reply, I am a serious buyer so your time will not be wasted. If you don't care about them being the original softparts, you could contact teamPSI on this forum or talk to someone at Pierce Audio Products. PAP has reconed them before and should be able to send you a recone kit. Not sure about PSI, but he's probably got something for a XXX. Good luck!

Ya I figured but worth a shot right ;^) Thanks for the tips, If I ever blow one I will def try to get some new parts for it, I love the basket, motor ect on them so much I don't see myself ever parting with them.

Still holding out hope that some one will have some for me, I plan on pushing these subs to their and my limits this year and some recones on hand would be comforting. lol I'm busted, not for EXO though, I'm just trying to get some extra kits for my subs to have them as reassurance cuz I plan on doing some big numbers this year pushing my and my equipments limits. I'm shooting for a 154-155 from one sub and a lil more from 2. Breakage is possible with my plans ;^)

As far as EXO I can't say much about his build as I'm sworn to secrecy but it will be 2 18's in a wall not 15's I can say that...

ahh i see the xxx 15 should handle about 6k with good voltage!

actually I have had that on them and they laughed at it, even when major clipping was applied it took a long time to get them to start to smell. Of course enclosure has a lot to do with that with not great of voltage.

really! haha you should put like 3 3400s to each sub see what happens! you building another octoport? also know anybody who wants to buy a mint soundstream splx122 for 185 shipped?

yep, an OctoPort for both subs but until then I'm going to put both my 3400's on 1 sub and have some fun in the stock classes I'd really like to do 8 3400's to 2 15's just for pure wow factor plus I love the amps but who knows. I'll keep my ears out for some1 looking for that sub, they are great subs very under rated loud and musical.

So any body have some of these recone kits for me?

so true, ask Steve about the Chichopee show at the end of last season. I show'd up wired at 1 ohm did my 2 slammin' bass runs then hustled to pull the subs and rewire them to a quarter. I had stripped out all the T-nuts so I was holding the subs in old school with nuts and bolts so it took the rest of the day. With 5 mins left before he closed off runs I finished drenched in sweat just barely getting my run in, total noob move by me of course but I am feeling ya. Btw I'm loving the avatar ftw!
