what other specs do you want? i dont know what it dose at 2 ohms, and the sheet that came with it (which has since been lost) says that it puts out 100 watts at 4 ohms.

with some searching i found some test results done buy the guy from irraggi alternators that says:

386.6 watts at 4 ohms

989.6 watts at 1 ohm

also it requires a 90 amp fuse, that is all i can think of off hand

quote from bigbassman (loyd)

Quote:

take it from somebody with a wealth of experience on AB amps..

for that 100.1 to drop 1.6-2.0 kw of power... requires 15+ volts input, and .5 ohm nominal..

and that's only for burps... you try to daily that amp under those criteria, she'll be dead with less than an hours play..

with a 12v system, and normal loading.. around 1kw...

^^^^^ That's pretty much what i was looking for.

I don't have any real use for it at the moment but your thread title caught my eye and got me to thinking.

In response to your PM IMO the SQ on my now-retired unit is pretty good! I have no real complaints about the unit at all - it served me well for the almost 2 years that I used it (it is still under warranty through Crutchfield until 4.26.06). I just upgraded to a better deck is all.

It has the majority of the features most end-user might possibly want but there are a few things it won't do that an expert user might be after (no active setup capability, no time alignment, no custom graphics on the display, etc etc etc)

It does have 3 sets of 5v preouts, HP crossovers for the front and rear outputs and a LP crossover for the sub out with level control, defeatable internal amp, motorized faceplate with 3 adjustable viewing angles, plays .mp3 and .wma files, blah blah blah....

I have an Eclipse CD 5423. I bought it a yr 1/2 ago. Took it out to put in an indash. Have a remote, trim ring, manuals, and original box.

PM me if you want pics or anything...
