want to wire(2) dual 2 ohm Id maxs at 1 ohm need NOW!!!

I have a powerbass 3000d powering 2 dual voice coils 2 ohm id maxs. want to power these at 1 ohm. a picture would be awsome or something please help I'm doing this right now as we speak.

you cant run two dual 2 ohm subs to 1 ohm, its either going to be 2 ohm or .5 ohm realistically... sorry chief.

well I could run them at .5 and turn the gains down let me know how to do this or run each one seperate at 1 ohm

if you run it @ .5 you run the risk of blowing the amp

turning the gains down wont do a whole lot if the impedence is too rough for the amp to handle.

and I would think two ID Max's could take the PB3000 no problem @ .5 (if it runs

that low)

i cant suggest that, sorry... i have never used the amp but I'm just assuming the worst if its rated @ 1 ohm and you want to run it below that.

ok not going to risk that just have another quick question( I just got this amp and is totally different then my last one) so excuse me being stupid ther are 4 speaker wire inputs it goes rem + - - + how should I wire this. should I have the negatives from the subs come together and the postives and run them to the up as one. Where would I put the wires in one on the left and one on the right are how would i do it. sry for being stupid and any info would be great.

you need to check your amp specs. also, if it's a mono amp, those "inputs" (actually should be outputs i believe) are parallel inside the amp.

its a mono block amp, each pair of speaker outputs probably comes together inside the amp so it dont matter which ones you use.

ok so I should connect the 2 negatives together and then the 2 positives and put them into whichever one I want.
