just check out two of the newest style alpine type Rs or Kicker L7s (or L5s). you will be heard for a couple blocks for sure if you send them good power in a big, mid/low tuned ported box.

this depends heavily on your budget.. but its one of the cheaper options to have to be heard for a while (i def turned some heads with mine, in the HS parking lot.. nto many other places to avoid theft hah)

bot actually what IS your budget, cause you might have some better options if you can throw down a little more money

SX 18 would be a great stand in. Full tilt at homecomming people told me that 10cars down in the parking lot the inside of the car with the windows up sounded liek they had a small system in their car.

18 or nothing in an ext cab IMO

haha u should check out that walmart documentary "the high cost of low prices", the cameras arent there for the consumers..

anyways, i think its nice to have sumtin people can hear from the outside, just turn it down if you're close to where you're gonna park, ie. a block from ur house or the parking lot of the store ur going in.

id say one 18 or 15 mt or dd95xx with a perfect....big box with a huge port...and low tuning...

If your like me your gonna keep changin' your mind on what you get until you actually buy it. And if you want something loud definately go with a vented box. That kinda rules out the CVXs because those are better for sealed boxes and the L7s steal the spot light in vented.

well not really, CVX will still perform in ported boxes also. it depends on the guys budget and how much space is avaliable. when done rite, 1 12 can be more than enuff for most people.
