I currently have a system that pounds, but I want something that hits harder than what I have. I have a 2600 watt SSL running two kicker comp vr 12's and I was looking to sell my system and just start over, can anyone suggest something that i could get for the 450 that will pound hard as hell? I know that is a pretty hard request considering the budget, but at least I can get an idea. And for the record I prefer 12's and a vented box. Thank you!

Nothing against that setup, I am just unfamilier with both Obsidian and Mb Quart, or PA. I just know I was as loud as possible and didn't know that it was really that expensive, I mean I have seen people go get Pioneer Premiers for like $125, put two of them in their box and I was amazed lol So you talking about $650 was a bit of a shocker.
Believe me, Bn'R knows what he's talking about. I don't have 1st hand experience with Obsidian Audio, but I know it's in the league of Sundown Audio and SKAR Audio, for a lot less than what those brands are charging. If you want to get loud, that setup isn't going to disappoint. It's just whatever you're willing to pay vs. how loud you want to get.

Yep this is one of those hobbies you gotta pay to play lol

VMI for the amps, Knu or Audio Technix for wire, Subs will have to come from Obsidian... They have a rep on here but I cant remember his name...

I'm also unfamiliar with AP, are they a decent brand? Will they put out clean rated power? How power hungry are they?
They are decent... They have been clamped doing rated pretty cleanly... Obviously though they are built to put out the power and get the job done but thats it dont expect anything too crazy...

Bah I really tried not to sound stupid again but VMI? I googled and didn't find them, and yeah I googled for the obsidian subs and found yep, only from the dealer lol

There ya go hopefully he can tell you when they will be back in stock...
Believe me, I've been holding my breath for them..site says the 18s are 'At least 30 days out'. But like you said, by the time he gets a box and his system planned out they'll probably be ready.

There us a promo code for a little off too...
I looked for one, and found out that the one I found expired on 3/31/12, by the way do you think that the audiopipe will be louder than a F2600.d SSL? That is what I am running right now, but I very seriously doubt that it is the true amp rating.
