Want More Power, What's My Best Bet?

Well, I have a Elemental Designs B312 sub sealed right now running off of around 800w maybe a little less. (I was told they were limited edition made from left over Tc9 parts? Correct me if I'm wrong) I find myself wanting more power back there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif So, I'm not sure whether I should:

A. Go Ported and will be happy.

B. Replace the sub with a Diamond D6?

C. Do I just need a more powerful amp?

I'm thinking going ported may solve my issue, because this was my first sealed box in a while, but I'm unsure whether or not that will solve my issue! I guess I feel like my setup could be a little more "boom" because it's just tight bass right now.

Any hands on experiences with BOTH subs? Let me know your opinions, I've been trying to decide for weeks, but can't come to a decision //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Thanks.

Yeah. It would still be around 100 or more for a well built ported box. I don't build //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif... And I could get a used D6 for around the same price, so I dunno. I'm not ballin right now with the dough either

I'm sure I could if I had enough time to dedicate to it, but with my level of experience and my schedule, I won't have time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Thanks for your faith though! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Right now I have it in a 1 cu ft. Sealed... ED recommended 1.5 ported to me at about 32 hz.
you could go with a smaller than rec vented with aeros. take the 1cuft sealed and cut the proper size hole, insert port and try it out.

if not, then you can go to hd or lowes and buy a sheet of mdf and have it cut there to the panels you need. take it home and glue it together and then cut the holes and insert ports. you will however need a drill and jigsaw

or stuff some polyfill in there before u goto lowes or build another box.
