I will have Boston SL80's in the doors and am aiming for a nice tight clean sounding system. I am clueless when it comes to subs and am not sure which to choose? I have choice of the Fosgate P2 or the Boston G2 sub. Will there be a difference in the size of box for these two options? I need an easily removable sub and want it to sounds great and not "boomy" and "sloppy" as i think sub setups sound....

I will be getting a Fosgate mono amp to drive the sub.

Thanks.

Custom enclosure is not an option. Do I go with prefab boxes they have in stock at the stores or buy the Boston Acoustics G212SS which is the sub&sealed enclosure from Boston??

If you get a prefab ported box you might as well just wall socket the sub and be done with it, a sealed box however might be a little more forgiving..

Why waste money on rear door speakers??? - get a custom ported box instead jeez.
