Install is not yet done, but I couldn't resist taking pics of the chromed 10w6v2. They look really nice in person. The install will be nice also when complete, its in a 350Z BTW.

Just thought I'd share, I will have more pictures of the rest soon, if you guys are interested.

The baskets and magnet back plate were sent to the shop to be chromed. The customer does A LOT of chroming and has a guy that does it. He took the parts and had them chromed, and then the shop sent them back to JL. Some one at JL hand assembled the woofers using the chrome pieces. This way, you still have a warranty since JL inspected the pieces and assembled the woofers.

They will do the same for amps also, if you wanted them painted or something.

I dont think the flames on the Audiobahns help them at all. And stamped baskets are just too plain, doesn't matter if you chrome it, its still plain looking.

Woofers like the W6v2 already look nice, and look to have "substance", some tastefully done chrome only helps.
