Wanna make a dist block, steel block slug? predrilled?

Im a machinist, I'll be fine drilling and tapping pretty much anything lol.

But pr-festiva already hooked me up with a good deal on some aluminum blanks, if anyone needs anything like that, pm him for sure, nice guy.

ahh yes good old tool and die! metal working the best! my pops had been in this industry since he was 16. Its really loosing steam over here in america since American companies are willing to risk quality for quantity. hey sounds just like car audio.... wait that all big business. haha.

copper/aluminum will be way easier to drill and tap

when I made my copper buss bars, it was sooo **** hard to thread....soft:crap: I gave up soon, and just bolted the terminals on with a lock nu...that bish dont move

Ya im actually laid off right now, my shop was 54 guys on the floor, we are down to 8 a shift right now and are taking rotational layoffs, sucks hard. Thinking about getting into welding and triyng to get ticketed before I turn 25. I dont think the industry is gonna get much better

I made these. I got the 1/2" copper for free from a machine shop and I got the aluminum from the Lowes hardware dept. I bought the aluminum in 1/4" thickness and double stacked it to make it 1/2". I eventually need to update it to something better.
