walled off louder then normal setup?

i was thinking about doing a wall in my blazer (yet i do not know much about doing so) i only have one 15" sx, but i'm going for the aww factor.... that and it would be hard to steal anything with it walled off...

a few questions...

1) Are walled enclosures typically louder than normal setups or no? (just a thought because they ban them in certain divisions in IASCA events)

2) Is it difficult to do a wall in a blazer? I would only be doing it just behind the back seats...

It's illegal for street use in some states. You need an un-ubstructed rear view. The only reason you would do a wall is if you need the air space, or surface area for a large amount of drivers. Unless you are competing in certain classes build a basic ported box.
