Wall Vent Placement

I call myself searching and if I missed could you please point me in the right direction.

Im going to be building a wall in my 2dr Explorer....18s...and would like to try my hand at the kerf boner...

Im not trying to do big numbers on the meter...i'd like to bass race for fun but im not shooting for any number...

I do, however, want it to take your breath away...

Does the vent placement have an effect? Top? Bottom? between the subs? to one side or the other?

depends on your install and room to work with, box size, port size. etc. you kinda gotta figure that out. Id have it across the top with the subs below.

~12 cubes after displacement.. large vent > 200in^2...tuned @ ~ 30hz...one Orion2500d @.5ohm for now...add another later when I get more money

in a wall probably not. they are both facing the same way.
