Wall in my Impala

just a question. you have an impala with a huge trunk yet your putting the batteries in front of the wall but the amps in the trunk. why...? why not just mount the amps and batteries in the back? IMHO I think it would look cleaner and also wouldn't the batteries sitting in front of the subs get a little shaken from time to time and overall lessen the life of the battery? just wondering . But if it were me I'd mount the batts in the trunk do a nice battery and amp rack cuz the batts just sat there now looks a little off... but thats just me but looks good man should hit like woah.....

the whole reason of putting the batts in front of the wall is to keep the weight out of the rear of the car, each batt weighs 98 lbs.

when i eventually get another 40.1 i will probably get rid of these 2 batts and get 6-8 yellow tops then everything will go in the trunk.

well ive been riding with them for 2 weeks now and no problems. i do see what you're saying though...we'll see how things go
just be careful wehn you get the subs and everything else in, thats another 80lbs lol, when you hit the brakes the weight is gonna want to shift forward and it might make the *** too light

put that in the trunk 75 lbs. and clean. not to mention like they were saying. You have a lot of weight right in front of the rear end. slam on the brakes and that rear end will slide on you. i'd drop the sub you have currently in the box and try it in an open space where you will not run the risk of hitting anything. Also no turning cuz with weight that high up you will have some serious body roll.

got the top piece screwed and glued in. originally the port was part of the top piece well i cut it out so that it will be easier to just make a new port if my tuning is off once its all up and playing. also got one of the subs in. i was sweating my *** off and in a hurry because it was getting dark and went ahead and screwed it in but im going to have to take it back out tomorrow and sand around the hole because its a tad too small.

40.1 will be here TOMORROW!! i spoke to scott saturday and he said he was going to ship the other 18 out today so maybe friday or saturday before i get it. i still have some more minor things i wanna do to the top piece/port to make it more sturdy.
