and its what, ~6 strands? lolyea if u go to lowes they will sell u like 2 gauge for a dollar and some change a foot
the new one comes with what appeared to be an aluminum distro block (i drilled one out to fit larger wire to find out its not copper or brass at all... the main power wire is 5 gauge with a shitty *** crimp connector instead of the gold plated one they used to have. The fuseholder doesnt have any hole to screw it into anything. The smaller wire is 9 gauge. The terminals for the 9 gauge are also crappy quality. The old kit though was a great deal. The 4 gauge Wal-Mart kit was pretty good for the price. Everything you need, basically, for $35 CAD ... Sure, the quality isn't great, but it's decent.
I'm talking about the old one as I have no experience with the new one.
Where the hell are you going??? Our Tsunami 4 guage is $39.99 for the kit with rcas.Tsunami WAY WAY WAY over prices their kits. ITs like 120 bux for a 4 gauge man, its a total rip off with rcas and what not -
Knuconcepts rox!http://www.knukonceptz.com if you have the time to wait for shipped, which is like 3 days, order there 4 gauge kit, its awsome
I wouldnt say that they're gone off the reservation as far as their wire gauging....just that they've gone to a smaller diameter cable than what was once sold in the Scosche kits.hmmm... so im guessing that these amp kits arent good anymore because they are way off the exact gauges and stuff?
